How does it work?

Here is a clear step-by-step breakdown of the process. Working with a colorist for the first time can seem overwhelming, so I've organized the steps for better understanding.

First Contact

To better understand your project and its requirements, please complete the form with all relevant details. This will ensure I have everything necessary to proceed and deliver a quote.

QUOTE

Once I receive your completed form, I will send you a detailed quote via email. The quote will include information on pricing, the project workflow, feedback and revision processes, delivery timelines, the proposed project start date, as well as instructions on how to provide any necessary materials.

Two workflows, choose what suits you best.

  • FLAT QUICKTIME WORKFLOW

    You will prep the timeline according to a prep sheet, which I will provide. When it’s prepped I will receive a EDL,XML or a AAF of the sequence and a native resolution ProRes 4444 XQ Quicktime of the sequence.

    When the grading is done, you will receive a graded ProRes or DNX Quicktime matching the resolution of the provided source Quicktime.

  • SOURCE MEDIA WORKFLOW

    You will prep the timeline and source media according to a prep sheet, which I’ll provide. When it’s all prepped I’ll receive an XML or AAF, The source material, and a reference QuickTime file from you.

    When the grading is done, you will receive a new XML and graded renders of each source clip. You will need to import the XML into your NLE to rebuild your edit. 

How to send the material

  • Google Drive

    Upload the material to my Google Drive. A link will be provided once the quote is agreed upon

  • Hard Drive

    Too much material to send online? Put it onto a hard drive and send it by mail or swing by my home grading suite at Sagovägen 17 Södertälje to drop it off.

Feedback

  • FRAME.IO

    I’ll upload the graded sequence for you, and you can let me know about any specific parts you’d like to adjust. Just so you know, the standard quote includes three feedback sessions, so we’ll have plenty of time to fine-tune everything together! However there’s also the possibility to opt out of the feedback for a discounted price.

  • LIVE AT MY HOME SUITE
